Lash Lifts: What to Expect at Your First Appointment

A lash lift is one of the lowest-commitment ways to wake up your eyes without extensions or daily mascara. Here's what actually happens, start to finish.

What a lash lift actually does

Rather than adding length, a lift gently curls your natural lashes upward from the root, using a silicone shield sized to your eye shape. The result reads as brighter, more open eyes using only the lashes you already have.

During your appointment

You'll lie back comfortably while your lashes are cleansed, arranged over the shield, and set with a gentle lifting solution. It's relaxing rather than uncomfortable—most clients close their eyes and unwind for the 45 minutes it takes. Many add a tint at the same visit for extra definition without mascara.

Right after your lift

Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours—no swimming, steam, or rubbing your eyes—so the curl has time to fully set. After that, they behave like your normal lashes: no special product required.

How long it lasts

Results typically last six to eight weeks, following your natural lash growth cycle. If you're curious whether a lift or a tint (or both) is the right fit for your eye shape, our lash lift service page has the details, or you can book a visit and we'll walk you through it in person.
